  3. Increase your Skill, Magic, and Health levels.
  4. Follow these steps one-by-one.
  5.  
  6. 1) dir /O *.dat
  7.  
  8. 2) debug _saveXXX.dat
  9.  
  10. NOTE: replace the XXX with the numbers from 
  11. the last file listed from step 1
  12.  
  13. 3) type the following at the "-" prompt.

  23. 4) Start lands of lore and load your last 
  24. game saved.  The Magic and Heath (Hit points) 
  25. will have increased to 999 for all your 
  26. characters and all of their skill levels 
  27. (Fighter, Rogue, and Mage) will have 
  28. increased to 20 or greater.  
  29. These are not the MAX values, there is 
  30. still room to grow, but it will drastically 
  31. increase the enjoyment of the game, if you 
  32. are getting sick of dying every other step. 
  33.  
  34. Hex editing you can do on the EXE file:
  35. Hex edit MAIN.EXE
  36. For everlasting health:
  37. Search for 5E FC 26 89 7F 39 26 83
  38. Change to: 5E FC 90 90 90 90 26 83
  39.  
  40. For everlasting magic points:
  41. Search for 5E FC 26 89 7F 3D EB 12
  42. Change to: 5E FC 90 90 90 90 EB 12
  43. then,
  44. Search for 5E FC 26 01 47 3D 26 83
  45. Change to: 5E FC 90 90 90 90 26 83
